I used them on a walking tour of the Syrian boarder region of Turkey so we were on our feet a lot and I had worried that the dirt would get under my foot and be uncomfortable but I never had any trouble. I did wish they were a little higher in the platform because the toilets in these parts was squatting pan style which tend to be wet with puddles but even there I was ok as I was careful to watch my step. I purchased a few weeks prior to takeoff just to break in the toe as my bunion always tries to be a problem. I recommend this for anyone and encourage people with bunions to be patient in the first week or so.
These are the perfect summer shoes! I have worn them with jeans, shorts, and skirts. They are casual enough for errands, fancy enough for nice dinners out, and comfortable enough for daily wear. I get compliments on them all the time and even a friend asked if I wouldn’t mind matching so she could get them too! If you’re into the new minimalism craze, then these are the single pair of shoes to own and donate all the others! Except your snow boots and running shoes and loafers, obviously :)
I recently returned from 12 days in Europe, where I walked 12,000 to 15,000 steps each day. I took two pair of shoes — these sandals and a pair of Walking Company walking shoes. These sandals have great support and are very cute at the same time. I put these on and havent taken them off. They are very comfortable.
