Vista Lace Metatarsal

OK, so I've been trying to find boots like this for ages. Combat-type style, real leather, warm brown, with arch support and stability. These are the boots!!!

I first ordered the basic version of the Vista Lace, but they felt all wrong -- bummer. The return policy is easy, so next up was the metatarsal version. I had low expectations because it's basically the same boot. Wrong!

It's a whole different fit! Seems roomier in the toe box, and the arch support and heel fit are perfect with a thick sock. I am so happy right now I am wearing them I type this. They hug my feet.

I was skeptical about other reviews lacking info so here's some that might help:

My details: women size 10, sometimes 9.5. Usually wear a 41 in most Euro shoes such as Naot and Dansko. I have a fav pair of Keene boots that are 40.5. Birkenstock sandals always 40. I wear a men's 8.5 Hoka Graviota 5 for the stability and D width. I'm mid 60s and let's say have a little "wear and tear" with my feet. But I don't want old people shoes, thank you very much.

These boots are the kind of boots you wear for 20 years or until the tread wears out. Not a huge cost and a great investment for my feet. Get the metatarsal version!

I am a band director and on my feet all day long. These have the support I need, a wide enough toe box, and from day one I was able to stand all day without any foot or knee pain. Not to mention that they're super cute! The laces also don't come untied when single-knotting them, which is also a bonus. I'd say they run "slightly" large, but not enough to size down.
