    Love these shoes

    Amazing!

    Years ago I bought a pair of Abeo slip-on sneakers from The Walking Company (when TWC still had retail stores, with staff who really knew their stuff, which I sorely miss!) and loved them so much that I bought two more pairs so I'd have them when the first pair wore out. Thank goodness I did because the style seems to have disappeared and although all three pairs are still comfortable and in remarkably good condition, I could use a new pair and I wanted lace-ups, having recently had foot surgery. When I went looking for something comparable to my old favorite, I found the Abeo MXV Shift -- and they are winners! The comfort and fit are SO much better than much more expensive brands, two of which I've tried and returned. So happy Abeo is still making quality products at reasonable prices and that TWC is still around, even if it's just online...

    Better Than Walking on Air

    I have only ever worn New Balance for exercise and especially walking. I need a wide toe box. I read about these MXV Shifts and since they were on sale, I thought I would give them a try. Oh my! They are so comfortable and sturdy. I have had bunions and plantar fasciitis and the worst flat feet...beside being very wide. It took a bit to get used to the fact that the toe box isn't as tall as the New Balance shoes. But since the material is a stretch fabric, my toes got used to it. I also ordered a 10 like I do for the New Balance even though my regular shoe size is a 9.5. The heel doesn't seem too big. I've worn these every day for 45-50 minute walks all spring and summer...and now into the fall. The sole is so comfortable. It's stable and sturdy--I can't have anything that is too flexible or cushiony; however, the inside of the sole is the most comfortable in any shoe I have ever worn. You can see from the photos that I have these shoes out!
