Very comfortable functional shoe
I am getting ready for two weeks in Europe and wanted a shoe that I could walk all day in, that if got wet would not be a problem, and could look okay going to eat. This shoe mostly covers the bill. When I first put these shoes on, they felt incredibly tight across the ball of both feet, but the length was perfect. I had read that I needed to break them in over the course of a couple of weeks. Now that I have done that, I can honestly say that they feel very comfortable wearing them 14 hours in a stretch. I did make the elastic ties a little looser, although there is not much slack given to those ties. And I would say that they look nice from above but the soles remind me of hiking shoes. Hence, I will be taking a slightly nicer shoe along for those times. But definitely comfortable and substantial. And the heel support is great.
