Beautiful boots
These Traverse Tall boots are not only beautiful, they are also very comfortable. They are a little large for my calves, and also have an insert near the top for those who need more room. I highly recommend them.
Look great
They look great but scratch easily and I needed to get the calf area stretched in order to wear with thick socks.
Almost perfect but not for snow
I love the sleek no-buckles-or-straps look of these boots (bought in black). Also love the smooth leather lining. Very well made. They are super comfortable with a great arch support, but I bought them to be able to wear in snowy weather and the heel is very slick (seems like hard plastic) and has no real tread like the forefoot to keep you from sliding. I just wore them this morning on snowy sidewalks and slid several times, almost falling. The heel is also noisy when you walk -- not like quiet rubber soles. I recently also bought the Abeo Vista Lace boots with great grippy rubber soles and expected the Traverse soles to be just like them. Since I've worn the Traverse outside, I know I won't be able to return them, so now I have to check into having the heels re-soled to be able to wear them safely as intended on snowy, icy surfaces. With all the great features of this expensive boot, it's a shame the heel keeps it from being a five-star boot in my opinion.
Super comfortable, super cute!
I love these boots! They look great are really comfortable, even for wearing all day long with lots of walking (think convention on your feet all day). Highly recommend.
