Comfortable Sole
The sandal is a nice height for general walking and the sole is really comfortable. Although these sandals are not offered in wide widths, they accommodate a slightly wider foot. I like the dark green color. However, the straps are too long for me in the heel area. I need to see if I can trim them.
Good support and very comfortable
I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that the straps are way too long and I don’t have a narrow foot. Love the support ,comfort ,neutral color and quality of materials used in this sandal. I have to pull the straps all the way as far as they will go for snug fit. So it affects the overall look of the sandal because the straps stick out and won’t lay flat. This sandal could have been a 10 for me if this was corrected . They could easily have been an inch shorter and still have room for adjustment. That’s the only complaint but a big one.
Comfort and Joy
My recent trip to Italy was a testament to the comfort and durability of these shoes. Due to carry on restrictions, it wasn’t possible to fit a second pair of shoes, so these were it for the entire trip of several cities, and many dress changes. I agree the straps on the front of the ankle are too long, but due to the record heat and the humidity in Italy, and the miles of walking, my feet swelled a little and I had to make a longer adjustment. The footbed is very comfortable. After all the wear and tear, they still look great! I got compliments on the shoes and I plan on ordering a second pair.
Straps too long
I do agree with the reviewer that said the straps are long. Over the foot is fine, but the straps around the ankle and heel should be shorter. However, I make them work because they are so supportive and comfortable.
Comfortable & Stable
These are the most comfortable and stable sandal I have ever worn! I have a lot of problems with my feet, so I was thrilled when I could wear them right out of the box. I bought the Sand color, and they are lighter than they appear online, which is fine by me because they are more neutral that way. I also bought them in the Forest color, but sadly had to return them because they didn't go with enough of my wardrobe. I'd love to see these in more colors, like the Dusty Blue they have in the "Jewel" version. Pastels and brights would be great! I'd also like to see more sandals made with this food bed design. These are also cute on, and a must have for summer!
