Expected better
This is a beautiful Shoe and the length and width were accurate and fit well. The shoe strings look terrible and are poor quality for such a nice looking shoe, plus they don't stay tied at all. The shoe only wears moderately comfortable for a few hours and not so much for all day wear. Four hours was the best I got before my feet started to hurt all over. This shoe is not designed for walking or standing more than one or two hours, and there is no extra cushioning or support as mentioned in the description. This shoe offers minimal support. At a price point of $100, I expected a shoe with superior comfort for walking and standing for an average 8hr day. The shoes had glue all over where the leather meets the out-sole and also had a very long scratch that went well below the surface on the left shoe that cannot be polished or buffed out (again, bothersome for such an expensive shoe).The scratch/gouge can be seen and felt easily and this was not a design characteristic. I did not bother to return the shoes since they took almost two weeks to arrive and I did not want to deal with paying return shipping charges and placing another order. Unless someone was staring at my foot close up, no one would see the scratch or glue except me. I've only worn the shoe twice, so cant comment on long term wear/tear.
