Lasted two months
I walk three miles a day and initially loved these shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and the shoe felt great. However, at about the two-month mark, the fabric on the heel wore through, exposing the plastic heel form, and I had a giant blister on the back of my foot by the time I got home. I would have been better off with arch supports in a pair of $50 big box store shoes, as they last longer than two months. Huge waste of money--very disappointed!
Perfect for Medium to Wide to ??? Feet
I have the weirdest feet. It will fit some medium width shoes, wide shoes, and rarely even narrow shoes. The Echelon actually makes my feet feel wonderful--at all angles or bend of the shoe! And that's very rare for me to have shoes that don't rub funny on any part of my feet. Be advised however, wide is very wide! True to size. If you're a 6.5 WIDE, do NOT get a 7 WIDE. Just my personal experience.
These shoes are a great fit for me, because of the fact I wear orthotics and have wide feet.
I have tried a lot of other brands of running shoes and this is the only brand that works for me. I highly recommend this particular Saucony running shoe for those who have wide feet and need good support. I usually have to find a double wide, yet this shoe is fine in a single wide. I walk much more than run, so with this shoe either one is fine--especially when Im walking through an airport, which happens every few months for me. These are orthotic-friendly shoes, as well.
