Design problem with shoe
I ordered the Cognac in size 11M. I was surprised at how oversized it was, concerned that the leather upper would stretch even more. I never order a wide, wonder if this shoe was mismarked. The deciding factor for my return was the outside ankle area did not sit flat against my skin, rather it bowed outward in an unflattering angle. Even tightening up the straps as much as possible did not help it to lay flat. In addition the cross-strap was slightly short. I have a normal size foot, just long. If I had a "puffy" foot, the strap would not have been able to attach. I loved the lightweight and feel under my foot, this shoe just didn't work for me. Daughter said fit problems made it unflattering. Perhaps it will fit better in smaller sizes for others.
