I wasn’t so sure these were the correct shoes for me when I first got them so I wore them around the house for a while. They turned out to be so comfortable and I have not really taken them off much since getting them two weeks ago. They are spongy without being unstable and really support my feet well. My feet don’t perspire either and the shoes only require a wipe over if they get wet in the garden. I have plantar fasciitis and posterior tibial tendon dysfunction which both conditions causing a great deal of foot pain. I’m so happy I ordered another pair today in the green.
Unable to wear these sandals
I purchased a pair of gdefy athletic shoes a year ago and they have been great. I purchased these thinking they would be similar to my oofos but the insole is so textured that I can’t even wear these without socks and socks kind of defeat the purpose of sandals. They are squishy and supportive but I just can’t get the soles of my feet desensitized enough to wear them.
Loved these until they shrunk up like a raisin
I purchased two pair of these sandals in different colors last summer, and they were very comfortable but pricey for the quality since the colored part started to crack almost immediately. They were great for my plantar fasciitis and heel pain so I tried to overlook the cracking issue. They are great for watering my garden since they are "water friendly." Two weeks ago I left them on my patio to dry and in the morning they had shrunk at least an entire size. To say I'm not happy is an understatement since I paid almost $65 for them and expect them to last longer than 10 months. Except for the cracking, my second pair seem to be ok but they never go outside. I expected more from The Walking Company and Gravity Defyer, especially at the prices they charge.
The perfect house shoe
I have had several foot surgeries and I can no longer walk barefoot comfortably on wood or tile floors. This sandals are a life saver and provides so much cushioning. It has a fairly tall arch because it feels like I have my arch supports in them. I wear a W and this shoe fit me so they run wide but can be adjusted by the buckle. The footbed sole has small raised design that I can feel slightly if barefoot but cannot feel at all with socks on. The shoe is so comfortable for my feet that I'll get used to it.
My feet say ah thanks!
Love these sandals. They are so comfortable. I can tell they stretch my heel to help with plantar fasciitis. I get a lot of compliments! I have even told my podiatrist about these shoes to recommend them to his patients. I also have a pair of Gravity Defyer tennis shoes. Hands down they are so comfortable and helpful with my foot issues.
