My feet need lots of support. This shoe meets all of my needs. I have other types of shoes in my wardrobe, they don’t even come close to these shoes.
Durable but Achilles' heel
This shoe accommodates my orthotic, grips my heel well, is comfortable, durable and water resistant. The lacing system is great once I got the hang of it. But I walk a lot and found the outer heel wore faster than I would have liked. Ecco referred me to the local shoemaker. They don't make this kind of repair. I have subsequently purchased additional pairs to use in rotation.
Comfortable walking shoe
I have found Ecco shoes to be comfortable in the past and expect this pair to be good even if they are slightly larger than I wanted. I would not describe these shoes as sneakers. They are a robust off road walking shoe. Size was half a size too big.
Great shoe for wearing all day.
One thing I have noticed with the shoe is the heal area inside the shoe, it seems to be separating from the shoe. I untie them every night when I get home, and do not force my foot out of them and they are still coming apart.
I stand all day long, these shoes provide excellent support and comfort. My feet are pain free for the first time in years
