Not for long days of walking
I ask a lot of my Danskos, and they usually deliver. I am sad that the Jean sandals did not meet my expectations. For a short shopping trip or even a day at work if one sits down most of the day, these would fit the bill. What I need is shoes that will comfortably take me through 8 to 10 miles of city walking on vacation (and also long days teaching). The Jeans were great when running errands around town, but I was in pain wearing them about 2 miles into a trip to Montréal (and not even on the cobblestoned part). Most of my Dansko sandals have the sueded footbed which these do not, so that may be the difference. All I know is that I honestly considered walking around barefoot which would have been preferable to the pain I felt and the soreness that lasted most of the next day (made better by wearing my Dansko Sonnets that day). I’m still giving 3 stars because they are cute, quite adjustable, and comfortable for short term. I won’t be wearing them on vacation or to work any time soon though.

Love the style and comfort of this shoe! Have had metatarsal issues for several years and love how Dansko has made lovely sandals for those of us with foot issues. Bought both brown and black Jean Metatarsal sandals. Due to velcro, shoe can be easily adjusted on each strap.
