Best shoe ever
My only regret with this shoe is that I didn’t order another pair before they were out of my size. The main difference I have found with this shoe is the back of the shoe is lower than most. That alone makes it more comfortable. This shoes appearance has not diminished at all. I have simply wore out the soles. I have not had a single issue with plantar fasciitis since wearing these. Please please please bring them back.
Suppose to help w/ heel pain, but...
I bought these because it was listed for plantar fasciitis, but they are the hardest shoe I own. Went for a walk in these and couldn't walk for 3 days. I'm not sure why they are recommended for plantar fasciitis, it only made it worse.
Runs smaller and more narrow
I'm a huge fan of ABEO; there is no other shoe that helps with my plantar fasciitis and I am grateful for the customized orthotic. I was initially disappointed after buying this particular shoe. It took some getting used to because it runs much smaller and more narrow than my other 2 pairs of ABEO athlectic shoes. I very much like the all black style because I can wear them to work and not feel as if my tennis shoes are inappropriate with my black pants. My feet have - after 6 months - gotten used to the new style. However I still find my feet getting tired after a day of walking and standing. This was not true with my other pairs of ABEO athletic shoes.
Beware - runs small and narrow, not typical ABEO sizing
I have been an ABEO advocate after buying my first pair for a brutal trade show and having none of the typical effects. Normally, I would have painful, exhausted feet after walking massive McCormick Place for several days, but ABEO was transformational. So this was my third pair, which I bought in a hurry assuming they would be true to size, even though when trying them on I was skittish since they didnt feel nearly as roomy in the toe box and my feet felt squished. I am, of course, super bummed. They are too small, and I probably have to give up wearing them (and they were expensive). Too late to return. I cant afford the repercussions of poorly fitting shoes and I am feeling that, instead of the relief that I have felt from ABEOs in the past. Flare up of tendonitis with swelling along my metatarsals, which can be from too-small shoes. Ugh.
Good practical shoe
Would have preferred a canvas type of shoe...this one is more plastic in appearance...But a comfortable fit.
