Used to be amazing - not anymore
I bought these for my mom to replace a pair she’s worn and loved for 5 years. The threaded area around the top of the foot came apart the third time she wore these. I’m especially disappointed because she discarded the old ones and now she has nothing. Abeo - please tighten up your manufacturing standards and produce the high quality product your customers expect and love.
Comfortable While They Lasted
I had really sore feet when I got these slippers. My feet really felt better after wearing them for several weeks. The issue is they didn't last very long. In fact, they didn't even last as long as the slippers that I had paid 25% less for. The swede pulled apart on my Abeo slippers around the toe area of one slipper. I was getting ready to order another pair so I would have them for next winter but then I saw some similar complaints. I thought I just got an unlucky pair. Maybe this construction is more frequent, I will pause here before placing another order.
Very comfortable slipper. I love Abeo. These were a disappointment. The upper ripped away from the side of the slipper in less than 3 months. For the price, they should last much longer than that.
Do NOT Recommend for Plantar Fasciitis
These slippers are very comfortable and have lots of cushion, however they have a very soft, malleable sole and there is not much thickness between the heel and ground. This aggravated my plantar fasciitis. My foot doctor told me I should only wear shoes and slippers with hard soles, where the toe tip cannot bend back past the arch of the shoe.
I love these slippers!
I purchased these wonderful slippers several years ago and they are so comfortable! However I need to replace the sheepskin orthotics and can’t seem to find them on your website. Are they still available? I hope so because my slippers are still in fine shape!
