Not comfortable - Black
I purchased a tan pair a few years back and they felt so good. After some wear and wanted to get another pair as this pair was losing support. So, I ordered the black pair. These have a very hard bottom. I could tell that they didn't feel as good on my feet but thought maybe this would change with some were. Got worse. After 4 months, there is no support. Bottom wearing down so that you can see the next layer of material. Old pair provides more support and comfort. Disappointed.
I've had these slippers for a few years now. I have two pairs. They are cozy and warm. Great in winter. I do find the very hard to walk in. Forget walking on carpeting. The front catches and you trip. I now keep a pair at my desk downstairs and a pair near my favorite chair I watch TV in. I take them off with getting up and every time I need to walk.
So comfy! Size does run a bit small - my size 8.5 feet are just right(without socks) in the size 9 slippers. Definitely the most supportive slippers I've ever had.
Arch support but stiff outsole
These definitely have arch support. The shearing is luxurious and wicks away moisture. I have a problem with sweaty feet. Cons for me: stiff outsole and no heel cup. Maybe after more wear they will be more flexible. Without a heel cup my foot slides right to left at the heel. Great for warmth without sweating while sitting. But wouldn't do a lot of walking in these.
Warm, supportive slippers
I have flat feet and my foot doctor said I needed firm supportive with good arches. I've been doing great with the Abeo brand of shoes. These are the first slippers I've ever had with arch support. At first they felt hard and a little uncomfortable with the very firm arches, it took a little getting used to. Now that I'm use to them, I love them. My feet are doing great and my ankles don't hurt. I love that they're slide ons and are fuzzy and a pretty pink color. Wish they came in more pretty colors (like purple)!
