Brought 2 pairs of Abeo joggers only for both pairs to start clicking, as if a stone is stuck in the sole. I would say cheap glue has been use to glue the sole onto the shoes. Very disappointing since the shoes are only a couple of months old.
Good Looking, but not for me!
I was attracted to these shoes, and have never been disappointed in a size 11 medium I have purchased from the Walking Company. Unfortunately, this shoe did not feel like a medium, more like a narrow. Since there are no 1/2 sizes available, I had to get a return label and return the shoes.
Have Two Pairs!
These have been great shoes. I am a nurse and am on my feet most of the day. The retro look of the (off) white pair appealed to me and I have had such good luck with ABEO shoes. I am so tempted to get the blush pair now that they are on sale. I did have to size up a half size, as they fit short and snug. I wear them for work and for walking.
I very much wanted to love them
We have literally thousands of dollars worth of Walking Company shoes at our house - my husband and I wear no other brands except Abeo, even now that there are no physical stores anymore. I loved the Blush color and assumed they would fit same as all my other Abeo shoes and boots that I adore. I bought them in December, but did not walk around in them until March since they were a springy color. It is now way too late to return them. My fault - I should not have assumed they would feel good as all my other Abeo choices have. They felt too small and much too rigid after just a little walking, so a bigger size won't help. I even tried swapping a regular Premium Orthotic in them, in place of the color-coordinated one provided in each shoe. I am so disappointed, especially after paying full price for the shoe. I won't give up on Abeo shoes but will definitely try to choose better and not just try them on right away, but actually walk around the house in them to make very sure they are comfortable. Expensive lesson.
I had a minor foot injury and I panic bought a few expensive shoes from The Walking Company, including this one in black. It definitely looked like an orthopedic shoe, more so than I thought it would based on the pic on the website, but I was willing to accept the look, for a shoe with proper support for my foot. I tried them on and they felt pretty good. Then I wore them out one night, and they were totally uncomfortable! Like less comfortable than a normal dressier sneaker! But by this point I couldn’t return them, and it hurts to see that now they’re 50% off, when I paid full price minus the small new customer discount. If you love the look, maybe they’d work for you, but if you’re getting them with comfort as a priority, probably leave these alone, even on sale.
