Great and not so great shoe
When you first put the shoe on, you'll think you are wearing a cloud. Amazing comfort. But make sure you get a snug fit with your size. You can't rely on laces to tighten the shoe to your foot. Mine were a little large and rub the heels. My bad. These are listed as walking shoes. I walk about 4 miles a day. I'm on my 3rd day and looking at the bottoms of the shoes, I'll be excited if they last 3 months. The heel and ball of the foot are almost flat already (tread worn down). Of course, by the time you find all this out, you can't return them. Propet makes comfortable shoes but the treads don't wear well and I'm anxious to see how the heel does in these. The last 3 pair of a different model of Propet, the bottoms were done in 3 months as well but the heels were typically dissolving in 2. I think I'll be trying a different brand after these. Propet is just not ready for prime time. I like the sizes available and that they can take inserts but for the price, I expect them to last at least half a year. I hope different socks will help the heel rubbing. Keep at it. Great concept, just not there yet.
