Great for adapting regular shoes

These are inexpensive, easy fixes to make my dress shoes that do not have removable insoles more comfortable for my falling arches. They breathe and, so far, have stayed securely in my shoes.

I bought my first pair and I like what it's doing to my fallen arch, it served its purpose. I've placed it to my 1.5-inch sandals and it worked perfectly, I can walk now with lesser pain than without this wedge pair. I will reorder my 2nd pair for my other summer sandals.

Work Great in Some Shoes

  • 5 of 5
I have one low arch and one virtually flat foot plus occasional joint pain. This arch support is painfully high in flat shoes but works perfectly in shoes with 1.5- to 2-inch heels—I don’t wear heels any higher than that. They worked fabulously in a wedge-heeled platform espadrille with open sides. I used a permanent magic marker to color the white underside of the raised arch support to match the black insole of the shoe. The underside virtually disappeared when I had my foot in the shoe. I had to trim it slightly to fit. I covered the insole and arch support with one of the self-stick insoles that keeps your foot from slipping and sweating. I wore the espadrilles to a lengthy family wedding using these supports, walking all over and dancing in complete comfort. Even my knee and hip joints were happy. I was prepared to get rid of a number of higher-heeled shoes that will now fit comfortably. Sadly, my feet were killing me at my own wedding 33 years ago. Wish I had these arch supports on that day!

Much too high for falling arches; very uncomfortable when worn.
