Nice boots
Definitely painful at the ankles at first but a few days in them and that’s all better. I’m usually between a 6.5 and 7 and the 7 is almost too big. Pretty comfortable overall.
Finally a comfy Chelsea boot!
I really like these. I’ve been wanting a pair of Chelsea boots for a few years now, but I have wide feet with a high instep and either haven’t been able to get them on my feet or they’ve been agonizing throughout the day. I sized up from a 7 to a 7.5 and now these are relatively easy to get on. I wish they had a zipper to prevent any sock bunching! My ankles are pretty small so I don’t have any issues with the ankle rubbing. I made it through work today without any major foot pain! I’m hoping these last a good long time.
Gorgeous and comfy, but they cut into ankle
They looked and felt great on the bottom of my feet, but not my ankle. The leather is very stiff and it there is no give even with the elastic, so they cut into my ankles (I tried them with socks pulled up too). They seem very well made but be aware they are for people with skinny ankles only! I really wish they made oxford shoes in this style!
