Was completely satisfied with the thigh highs recently purchased. However, after three handwashings the thigh part is slipping. Is there an eplanation for this nuisance?

I have used compression thigh highs before and these are the most comfortable I have ever used. Their appearance is also much more like your own legs. I have really enjoyed wearing them.
