Vionic by Orthaheel Women's Cascade Thong Sandals

My daughter-in-law has plantar fasciitis and has suffered with pain. She loves the sandals and said after wearing for several days, she has no pain. AMAZING!!! Thank you for offering such a wonderful product. I have 4 pairs of orthoheel sandals and 1 pair of slippers. Love them!!!

Let me tell you a little about myself, so you can fully appreciate this review. At the age of twelve I was diagnosed with spondylolysis (a spinal stress fracture of a bone structure). This has caused severe back pain and led me to be limited in the footwear I purchase. Generally, I wear very supportive running shoes with my custom orthotics...even with dresses. And during the summers, I have had to choose between having cool feet and a sore back and legs or hot feet (not a great choice!). That is, until I found the Orthaheel Vionic Cascade Thong Sandal. When I purchased them, I also ordered the Merrell Hollyleaf Sandal because I thought they were so cute. However, when I tried those sandals on, my foot rolled in terribly (a normal problem for me...hence, the orthotics & running shoes). It was so noticeable, my preteens saw it! So I sent them back and ordered the Dr. Andrew Weil Spirit Thong Sandal instead. I was trying to find a pair that looked a bit more dressy. However, even though the arch was better in these sandals, they were hard as a rock and extremely uncomfortable. The Vionic by Orthaheel Cascade Thong conformed to my foot, was as "cushiony" as my expensive running shoes, and supported my arch well. So here's the bottom line. It has been, for me, the BEST sandal I have EVER purchased. In fact, I have been able to wear them every day this summer without experiencing any discomfort. I am so thankful...especially since my husband and I took our first ever cruise in May to the Caribbean! Therefore, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this sandal to anyone and everyone...especially if you have any trouble with your back like me! Thank you Footsmart for providing quality shoes. Love this flipflop..has the color string that gives it that little something extra. Very very comfortable. The only negative is the price...way too expensive, but I do love my orthaheels so I went for it. However, I will just buy Tides from now on...not as fancy but just as good.

I love this shoe, but I can't keep it. My feet turn outwards when I walk (I walk on the outsides of my feet). This shoe is clearly for pronaters whose feet turn in when they walk. The picture shows that, and it's really true. Great support and I love the fit and the look. I really wish it worked for my feet.
