20 Years of Warmth & Comfort

I bought these boots in 1991 and have worn them every year for twenty years. I am only replacing them because the upper has a small split in one shoe and that is on the top. I live in the Northeast so they have gotten plenty of wear. I have never had cold toes or feet. I will continue to use them as a backup pair. Thank you for a great product.

I love these boots!

I love these boots. They are more comfortable for me than any other winter boot I've come across. I like that they lace up, and I can adjust the tension. I like that they don't squish my toes. My feet have a narrow heel and a wide ball and these boots fit well. I like that I can move my ankle and walk normally. They look nice enough and feel good enough that I can wear them indoors during the day if I don't want to bring a change of shoes. I have allergies, and am sometimes allergic to the smell of shoes, but I had no problems with these ones. I've worn these through cold winters, through snow and water. My feet stay warm and dry. The only time I've wished for other boots while wearing them is when going through 3 foot deep snow because the snow falls in the top a little, so I wish I had taller boots. But most of the time I like their ankle height. I worn a pair out and immediately bought another pair to replace them. My friend has a pair and she loves them too.

I have extremely wide feet so I ordered the XXW width. When I got them they were not even as wide as the D width boots I already had. Also, the sole is not good on ice or snow - there is not enough traction in them. Would not recommend these unless you have narrow feet and aren't planning to walk on slick surfaces. However, they are waterproof as indicated.
