Propet Preferred Women's Mary Jane Walker Shoes

I have the same problem as another reviewer - If you have a high arch in your foot, the strap across the top is WAY too short. In fact, that's a problem with a lot of Propet's shoes. I love the shoes so much that I take them to a shoe repair shop and have an insert placed into the strap to lengthen it. It's expensive and a pain in the neck to have to do. It would really be great if Propet would take a note and add some length to that strap -particularly for the wide sizes.

I was able to wear these shoes all day long without any discomfort on the first day I tried them. I can use both an ankle brace and an orthopedic support at the same time. The shoes are roomy, with an excellent toe box. In size ten, they are not dressy shoes but worn with slacks they can pass for casual-dressy. I am very pleased with my purchase.

As a generation X'er with size 6.5 4E problem feet I love these shoes. They are reminiscent of my old Mary Jane style doc's, but not as heavy and even more comfortable. I wear these with black tights and short plaid skirts (for a slightly punk look) or with jeans or casual slacks. They work for casual to silghtly business casual. There isn't much on the market for people with super wide feet like mine and this is definitely one of the best shoes I have found. The only reason I don't give these five stars is that your foot can slide around in them after they stretch out. If I went a size narrower, the strap woudln't be long enough and the width would be too narrow. Now that I'm an exec, I would love some 4E width dress/career shoes from propet with some style!

Though these are very comfortable shoes, I get lots of laughs from friends. They say I look like a nurse or nun. I wear these shoes around the house.
