I wish comfortable shoes came in cool colors

  • 5 of 5
Why don't comfortable shoes come in bright fun colors? The beige says"granny wore these in the 50's"The tans are drab and the blues are dull. I wouldn't mind wearing them with pretty fun colors! Most of us are baby boomers and we want the best!

Nice and comfy!

really like propet shoes. I have swollen feet and ankles and the adjustable velcro strap helps a lot. The shoe is well made and I can wear them all day in the office. Wish they came in other colors!

Good, But Still Looking

  • 5 of 5
I'm on a search for a shoe that is comfortable to walk in through a long day. I'm overweight, have diabetes and need to walk more so want to find shoes that don't make my feet hurt. Are these the shoes? Maybe. I bought them in a 10 2W. My feet are about a half-size difference in shoe size so one shoe fits perfectly and the other foot slides around a bit in it. The hook-and-loop closure is comfortable, but on my smaller foot I can't get it cinched quite tight enough to keep my foot from sliding forward in the shoe box. Not a problem on the other foot! The great things about the shoes are that they have pretty good arch support, and the shoes are comfortable to wear, especially if you have any foot or ankle swelling through the day. Having the stretchable neoprene vamp gives your toes and feet room to expand without pinching through the day. I have developing hammer toes on the "little piggy that stayed home" (geeze, I'm dating myself) and the neoprene vamp eliminates some of the rubbing on the top of those toes that I experience in other all-leather vamp shoes. I'm hoping to find a shoe that's got more "cush" in the step, but I've been on a long search and this is the best I've found so far. I'm next going to try other Propet Ped Rx options. Looking at the MaryJane Ped Walker 11 and the Ped Walker 3 and the Ped Walker Oxford. I have an all-leather version of the Propet Oxford and have trouble adjusting the lacing so that it doesn't bother the top of my foot above the arch, so I'll probably try the MaryJane and the Ped Walker 3 first. I don't care much what others think of my shoes -- I'm all about how comfortable I feel in them -- but I do get a lot of compliments on these.
