Great Orthopedic Shoe Replacement!

I have been wearing custom made shoes and inserts due to diabetic complications and leg/foot swelling. On average the shoes had to be replaced each 9-14 months at a cost of $200 plus each time. The shoes were so expensive because each shoe had special rocker bottom soles in order to reduce toe pressure. Imagine how surprised I was to find a Propet rocker bottom shoe at FootSmart for 1/3 of the custom shoe cost in the same length and width I needed. These shoes came with a large, roomy toe box and were so stylish compared to the Frankenstein looking orthopedic ones I wore for 5 Years! I removed the factory insoles and my custom made insoles fit perfectly! If you don';t have foot swelling, order the same length you normally wear and get one size wider. If your feet stay swollen ALL DAY, then order the length one size longer and the width two sizes wider. Your feet and wallet will love you.

I weigh 332 lbs. so I have to have a shoe that is comfortable and gives me the support my weight requires. This model Propet gives me both. The shoe is guaranteed for a period of 6 months or 1000 miles. I buy 2 pairs at a time so as to have a spare pair on hand as I break the shoe down after 6 months of constant wear. If you weigh 150/200 lbs. you will probably get 12 months out of a pair unless you wear them off trail. This model is an excellent shoe for the money and I would recommend them to anyone who requires maximum support for a moderate amount of walking.
