Favorite brace for hiking and healing

I have a very weak ankle and have had two of these braces over the 8 years. Have been trying to purchase more for a number of years now. When I saw in FootSmart I quickly order two more. I use when I hike and then for the next few days to help with any discomfort. I love that I can tighten or loosen the straps and the neoprene material just seems to hug my ankle and help it heal during the night. At night I often do not use the straps. I never travel without this brace. It can get hot in very warm climate but then I put a light weight sock on under it. I have used it to hike or tour in so many states and countries without fear of hurting my ankle in anyway. I hightly recommend this brace. Nothing else like it.

Not a Wrap

This is advertised as a wrap which would let you vary the degree of tightness. It must be slipped over your foot before you ever use the two wrap pieces. The piece to slid over your foot was so tight it wouldn't even go on my foot and I bought as per the size chart, which allegedly fits two sizes beyond what I wear. I sent it back.
