Very Good Non-Skid Surface

I am very impressed with the stability of the plastic beads on the bottom of these socks. They do run a little snug, especially if you need to wear them over another pair for added warmth (i.e., Raynaud's). I have to wear the tops scrunched down to my ankles. I washed them in my machine in cold water, then air dried them over my shower rod, so I didn't get any pilling.

Tight at the top, small for size

The tread is great but the top is too tight for older legs and the sock does run small for its size. I returned them without washing them because I thought they might shrink more.

Worst ever slipper socks

I found much to my amazement after just a few days of wear that the heels had worn through so I have a hole an inch in size in both socks. I paid full price so am am less than thrilled by this junk. NEVER AGAIN.

They shrunk!

When washed in cold water and dried on low, these socks felted up and shrunk so badly that they became unwearable. I don't want socks I have to hand wash and hang dry, too much trouble.
