Peda Bella Gel Forefoot Pads, Pair

I have a pair of sandals with 3 1/2" heels. My toes kept slipping forward when I walked, leaving my toes hanging over the shoe. These pads have stopped that & the shoes are so much more comfortable to wear now.

I love these gel pads, especially in closed-toe or peep-toe shoes. My feet always slid around in my shoes, often causing a burning sensation in the ball of my foot when I walked. These inserts prevent that from happening. I especially like the fact that they can be moved from one pair of shoes to another. I gave a pair to a friend, and she also raves about them.

This item works as described, it keeps your foot from sliding *too far* forward in open toes shoes. I bought them with the intent of wearing them in shoes that were similar to the ones in the advertisement because my heel and arch were sliding around. The toe was a perfect fit in these shoes, but my foot slid around in them. Unfortunately, the added bulk of this item made this pair of shoes uncomfortable because the toe and width were a perfect fit to begin with. However, I had a pair of leather sandals that were slightly stretched out from wear/tear, so I tried this item in those sandals--perfect! My foot was sliding too far forward in these sandals and my toes were coming out the front, so I had stopped wearing them. Now, when I put this item in these sandals, my toes don't creep out the front, so I can continue to wear these cute sandals again! I'm happy with the product in general, but it feels a little odd. I'm sure I will get used to it, but for now it stays four stars. I think adhesive might help, because it does start to bunch a bit if your foot shifts in the shoe (when I am driving, my left foot slides out of the shoe a bit, so when I get out of the car, I have to re-adjust).

The thick gel in the foot pad feels very comfortable (to the hand). Probably would help ease foot pressure. However, I received only one pad (packing error?), and I don't intend to re-order. If nothing else, one is better than none!
