works with orthotics

  • 4 of 5
overall happy with shoe. I have ordered this style in other colors as the initial pair has worked well for me. I have neuropathy in my hands and feet and shoes work well with my orthotics and also are easy to get on without having to tie laces. the first pair seemed to be made well but the new ones that I just purchased don't seem to be made as well. the finishes on the leather and strap are not sewn as well. the first pair I have had for a year or so. I hope that I will be happy with the new ones as they are not cheap.

Not for me

These shoes look good and they would probably feel good on someone with ha different foot type from my own. The toe box isn't as deep as I had hoped and not quite wide enough as other reviewers have indicated. I have a very difficult foot to fit and I foolishly hoped I could break them in by wearing them indoors. By the time I realized I couldn't I felt that they were no longer in new condition and didn't send them back.

Fianally a shoe I can wear and have no dicomfort! I have a painful bunion on my left foot, couldnt be on my feet very long due to the pain. The pain was not only with my foot but also with my back. This shoe is great! No more pain, I can work in them and then shop if I need to. Thank-you

I loved the look of this shoe, read the reviews, so bought it in my true size. They are actually quite narrow in the toe area, so I exchanged them for a half size larger, but even these didn't stretch enough to accommodate my 5th toe, so they had to go back. I've done well with Orthofeet shoes that have the stretchable type fabric in the forefoot, but not these. Too bad!
