What a great shoe! Easiest on and off. Super comfortable . Look great. Fantastic for these diabetic feet and stroke victim. I originally went to a local "specialist". His were three times the price and a fraction of the quality and comfort. I recommend these shoes 100%.

I purchased these for my husband, who is a large man and has a really bad outward roll (supination) on his left foot, high arches and 4E wide feet. He's primarily worn New Balance athletic shoes but they wear out so quickly and don't do much to prevent the rolling. We tried another brand supposedly made for supination but it seems he needs stability where most shoes made for this condition have none! Not sure how they do it, but these particular shoes work well to keep his foot straight as he walks! I had previously purchased a pair of the Orthofeet dress shoes for him and was amazed at how they allowed him to walk normally and he is still happy with the comfort of those. So I purchased these when he needed a new pair of tennis shoes and was glad I did. He has stability, comfort and they aren't too bad looking either. I only wish they could make them in a gray color as white gets dirty so quickly. I wanted to be sure to share his particular foot health needs in case there are any other men out there looking for a stable shoe for supinators. I notice that these shoes aren't designated for supinators, but for him they are perfect and just what he needs! The soles are really thick and the velcro is a nice touch. For whatever reason his NB shoes would come untied all the time. I don't think it's happened once with these. So far so good! And the best part is these shoes are not any more expensive than the NB ones, yet I know they will last him much longer.

All time favorite walking shoes

Orthofeet Men’s 610 Strap-n-Lace Sport Walking Shoes These are my all time favorite walking shoes. They provide the secure fit of a tie shoe but the convenience of velcro fasteners and they look really good. Unfastened, it is easy to get high arched feet into shoes quickly without loosening shoestring tie. I was at first concerned that the velcro fasteners wouldn’t hold well over time but, after 15 months they’re still holding strong. It’s easy to loosen for comfort while in the confined space of an airplane–quickly fasten to race to the connecting flight. I replaced the insoles that came with the shoe with my own extra-wide leather covered insoles. The strap-n-lace design combined with anatomical soft cushioning moldable EVA foam arch support gives a very comfortable fitting shoe.

I'd been suffering 8 months from sciatic nerve pain. Very intense stuff. Weeks of physical therapy help only a little. Several chiropractic sessions helped only a bit more. Tried changing my office chair to something more ergonomic. Nothing took me back to a pain-free world. On a hope and prayer I ordered these shoes, had absolutely no reason to believe they would help, but I was desperate. When I began to wear these I could feel a distinct improvement in pain levels every day, and within two weeks the pain was gone entirely, ever to return. It was the best pair of shoes I've had in my life, and allowed me to stand without grimacing for the first time in months.
