My hubby had a major stroke 8 yrs ago. He is in a wheelchair. We have purchased 2 pair of these slippers, and am to purchase the 3rd. What worked so well is the fact that the shoes are not restrictive to the contortion, twist or shape of his affected foot (caused by the stroke). Wearing regular shoes is painfully unbearable. Some slippers have a firm sole, but they do not work, as the foot would be pressed against some "hard" areas, and seams could further harm the foot. These slippers are very comfortable, and truly meet his comfort and travel needs!

Can't wait to wear these bootees. I am a 8.5 WW , but I ordered the 7/ 8 thinking the next size (W11/12) would be too big. The width was great, but it is definitely too short. I wish they wouldn't jump from a woman's 8 up to an 11. I am going to try the next size up this time. I hope it works for me because they looked and felt great.
