New Balance Women’s 812 Easy Grip Walking Shoes — a performance walking shoe with Rollbar for the walker who needs added stability

Ideal for the moderate to severe overpronator (foot rolls inward too much), this walking shoe features the Rollbar® support system for added motion control and stability. Increased back height offers an improved heel fit, while the toe box and grooved outsole flex as you walk. Dual hook-and-loop straps on the synthetic upper make it easy to adjust the fit. Plus, this shoe is made in the USA.

vs 811 shoes

Ok compared to the 811 shoes. They do not fit as well as the 811 shoes, but they are comparable. I could fit my orthotics in them just fine.

Almost the Perfect Shoe For Me

  • 4 of 5
I read in other reviews the tongue was too long, but I ignored that. They were so right. After a couple of days wear my shins just above the ankle were bruised. First, I took sharp pointed scissors and detached the tongue. Since these shoes are not fashion wear I didn't care about looks, but this made the straps too long and the shoes too loose. So, I cut off an inch of the tongues and super glued them back onto the shoes, which took only about five minutes. Now I have the perfect walking shoe. The manufacturer needs to remedy this problem.

Was not happy with the tongue of this shoe, too long up the ankle and moves outward when you walk. Not comfortable for that reason, otherwise the shoe fit pretty good.
