Comfortable traction

I was happy to find a slip on shoe that came in a D width. I wear these out to the mailbox where our recent snowfall has become quite icy and slippery. I feel much more stable on slippery surfaces with this tread. I find the shoe a tad short but less than a half size shorter. Maybe I just don't know what my true size is.
