Work well with orthotics for problem feet

I have several foot problems (including hammertoes) and wear orthotics. I can wear these boots for extensive city walking, although I wish the toebox were a tiny bit deeper in Munros. I have been wearing almost exclusively Munros for about 10 years. These are attractive, have a rounded enough toe box, and hold up well and fit well enough to supply some support at the ankle. I have them in the Mink Nubuck 9.5 WW.

Great Boots, inferior insoles

I purchased 8 XW/mink suede; this is 2nd pair. The boots accommodate a thin, leather orthodic purchased from Footsmart. However, my preferred insole w/superior arch & ball of foot cushioning took up too much space. Munro's insoles lace arch support & cushioning. Considering Munro's prices, they should come w/better insoles, e.g., Naot's insoles are excellent. .
