The Merrell Barefoot Collection lets your feet follow their natural instincts—landing at midfoot instead of on the heel. The result is a more efficient walking gait that helps reduce impact while strengthening muscles. You’ll simply feel more connected to the terrain in this super-lightweight, low profile Mary Jane. Elasticized topline at the heel and an elasticized, diagonal instep strap on the leather / mesh upper ensure a great fit. The Vibram® outsole gives feet added stability.

  • 4 mm compression molded midsole cushions while allowing your foot to feel the terrain.
  • 0mm drop (the heel rests at the same height as the forefoot) offers a barefoot-like feeling.
  • Strobel construction, in which the upper is stitched to the outsole, offers flexibility.
  • Leather / mesh upper with mesh lining wicks moisture away from the foot.
  • Vibram TC-1 carbon rubber outsole provides excellent grip on wet and dry surfaces.
  • 1mm plate in the forefoot distributes pressure yet maintains forefoot flexibility.

This is my third pair. I love the colors and I love how they fit. They do run a little large. These are very comfortable shoes.

it is one of the best Merrell shoes I ever bought. Much better that I expected, Very comfortable. I have multiple foot problems and practically no pain while whearing these shoes.

These are exactly what I was looking for. Very lightweight and easy to wear. I have MS, so this is a big deal to me. I'm going to buy the other two colors.

The shoe is too narrow where the straps are attached and very binding. This made the shoe very uncomfortable-especially since I have bunions. I'm still looking for the "right" comfortable shoes. Shoe is stylish and very light weight, an attractive shoe, but not for me.
