Unfortunately I've had foot odor all of my life no matter what shoe I wear but especially so in leather or athletic shoes. I purchased this and tried it for the first time in a brand new pair of shoes and so far so good. I have not experienced any odor as of yet and it's been over a week and by now I would have definitely developed an odor in my new shoes. I did reapply the cream on day # 3 just to be sure it worked and may have not needed to but whether I needed it or not it still seems to be working. I would recommend this product.

I've had sweaty STINKY feet for years, worsened by need for custom orthotics that support arches but limit air circulation in shoes. I am a professional woman and I wear pantyhose every day... my hose were always smelly and stank up the laundry hamper, and I left shoes inside the back doorway so they wouldn't smell up the bedroom. Been using Lavilin for a month now-- feet are dry & odor- free, and so are my shoes and laundry hamper. Product itself is odorless, causes no irritation. You apply only a small amount weekly, so this little jar should last a year or more. I've been buying shoes and other products from Footsmart for at least five years now-- can't believe I waited so long to buy this GREAT product.

I apply a tiny bit to both feet once every 4 or 5 days and it works great! It doesn't quite last a week for me, but that's OK! Even though it does come with an applicator, I find it absorbs better using your fingers. You may want to wear a nitrile or latex glove though as it's hard to clean off your fingers. Even scrubbing with dish soap and hot water, my fingers still have the residue on them. It's not a big deal though, especially when my hard-working feet are odor-free for several days!!
