I have over a half-dozen pairs of the Jobst brown Lge size Mod Support socks. These keep fluid out of my ankles and don't crease in the instep area too much thereby cutting circulation. This time I got navy blue socks so as to better distingusih new from old. Much to my dismay I found that the new blue socks are made from thinner fabric, they DO crease in the instep if not pulled up tightly whereupon they become tight in the toe box. I cannot figure out for the life of me why other color socks of the same item number would be of ligher weave fabric! It's a different quality product than I had before.

Well-made, but tight in the toe

I purchased 10 pair four months ago, and they haven't begun to show weakness or wear. One problem prohibits me from using them from now on: in addition to compressing the foot, ankle and calf, these socks also compress the toe area.. Because I have a wide foot, that's extremely painful and has caused ingrown toenails. This product would be much better if it had a bigger toe box.
