I've used these Metatarsal Dome inserts for several years. They are easy to wash and bring me tremendous relief from ball of foot pain. For the most part, they stay where I want them in my shoes.

I developed Morton's Neuroma about 2 month ago on my left foot because I was favoring my ("problem") right knee.. (I am an avid tennis player and did not have the patience to wait for right knee to heal properly.) I tried first the Pro-tec metatasal lift pads which might work very well for others but did not seem "raised" enough to provide adequate support for my high arches. I was pleasantly surprised by the difference in pain level (gone!!!) and comfort this product provided me. Of course if I overdue the walking (or play tennis) the pain will return after shoes/insoles are off... I still need to heal the neuroma but these insoles allow me to walk without pain for quite some time... until the neuroma will heal... I've been told by my doc that some people feel uncomfortable with this level of "height". For those, the Pro-tec metatarsal lift pads would work better. One advice: tape the insole to your orthotics, or, have it somehow glued on so it doesn't move. Otherwise this product is highly recommended for those that need a little "extra" support.

I was finding it impossible to wear my favorite western boots until i found this product....the dome is firm and sits precisely in the right spot. To the reviewer who had a problem trying to getting their socks to slide over this silicone pad....how about using the pad INSIDE your socks (or hosiery)??? Solved the problem for me and I love this product!!!
