I am man, 6 feet four inches tall. My cardiologist told me to start wearing support stockings to prevent ankle swelling. I didn't like the idea because unless socks have a wide opening I can't get them on over my heels and true support stockings are more expensive. I tried short socks for diabetics, but while they are comfortable, they don't prevent swelling. These stockings (largest size available) provide complete support comfortably, even though it takes a little tugging to get them on. I bought one pair first, then more after I tried it.

This sock did not provide the support I was expecting. Also too short for the tall man.
