I have suffered from RLS my entire life. When I was little, my mother had to rub my legs to get me to sleep. My grandmother suffered from it too and called it "the fidgets". The only relief I could get was to get up and walk or lay on the couch with my feet up against the back of it. Neither helped me get to sleep very well. I tried electric massagers, but it was still a struggle. I heard about a new medication, but didn't want to deal with possible side-effets. This past August when school started again, I was assigned to teach 600 children in 27 classes in two schools. My legs ached every night. I saw the Calf Cuddlers in a FootSmart catalog and decided I had nothing to lose. On the evening that they arrived, I put them on and slept like a baby. My husband was so impressed that he wanted a pair too! I wear them every night, usually with socks and have had no RLS symptoms.

I have trouble going to sleep at night because of very distracting leg cramps. By covering my legs with these leg warmers, my legs quiet down, the nerves settle, and I can drift off to sleep most nights. May get another pair.

I purchased the leg warmers as in the winter I was having problems with circulation and had a lot of pain in my legs. As soon as I received them, I put them on and wear them night and day. I was putting a heating pad on my legs during the night but don't have to do that with these as they are so warm. The only drawback, I ordered the largest size and wish they were a little longer and wider at the top to go over my knees and up the top of my legs -- maybe Footsmart could take this suggestion -- I would pay a little more for a slightly longer and bigger size at the top so my knees can be warm also -- but my calves are nice and toasty! My husband has fibromyalgia and experiences cold legs. The CalfCuddlers are great and just the perfect warmth, without overheating him. They are just a tad small even though we bought a large.
