Ossur Exoform Dorsal Night Splint comfortably maintains the optimal level of stretch for plantar fasciitis relief while you sleep

This night splint features a semi-rigid plantar pad that positions your foot for the proper angle of dorsiflexion, while reducing discomfort along the sides of the foot. The integrated support shell and adjustable aluminum stay (support) work together to maintain the angle of the foot and lower leg at 85 to 90 degrees, providing relief from the pain of plantar fasciitis. Plus, the splint feels comfortable, thanks to cushiony soft Form Fit® padding and Flex Edge® cushioning that wraps around the edges of the splint to minimize pressure points.

Caution: Not intended for prolonged walking or weight bearing. Not recommended for those with diabetes or neuropathy of lower extremities.

Features & Benefits of Ossur Exoform Dorsal Night Splint:

  • Aluminum support inside the dorsal shell allows you to adjust the angle of dorsiflexion (amount of stretch) of the plantar fascia.
  • Thermoformed Form Fit padding provides soft cushioning inside the splint, so it feels comfortable against the leg and foot.
  • Flex Edge cushioning wraps over to the outside edges to eliminate pressure points while protecting sleeping partners.
  • Full calf and heel padded strapping keeps the brace in place, so it won’t slide or rotate, for an undisturbed stretch throughout the night.
  • Semi-rigid plantar pad maintains the stretch of the plantar fascia.
  • Non-slip surface on plantar pad prevents slipping if you need to take a few steps.

Easier to sleep in

I like the Ossur exoform Night splint , for the most part. It does as it states. It stretches you overnight. It is a little easier to sleep in than the rigid brace for me. I don't wake up when I turn over with this. However, I live in the hot south so it this form can make you sweat. When, if this product is upgraded, I would suggest more air holes on the front or a cool pack. Also a sewn in soft protective cup for your heel. Fully stretched with Planters Facitus and walking is painful with no heel elevation or protection. Aside from those customising thoughts It works. I'm not pain free yet, but I'm getting there. I combine the smart flexx with several minutes of exercises before bed, and this Ossur dorsal splint and I've gained noticable relief. I also switch up splints and use a rigid night relief.

This night splint is very comfortable. In the morning I have no pain when first walking like I did with my old splint. I bought two different model splints, hoping one would work. Happily both work very well for me. Both are easy to put on and take off. I wear one on each foot.

I am very pleased with construction quality and fit. It took a little while to get used to, wearing a splint in bed at night, but it significantly reduced early morning foot pain when getting out of bed. The angle setting seems just right for me - 90 degrees. The angle is modestly adjustable - the metal will bend - but the manufacturer does not recommend continuing to adjust it as the metal will fatigue. Much of the bottom of the foot is open to air, so my foot did not get too warm over night.
