This shoe looks good and feels good. The only problem is the width is very wide, to wide, from the average shoe.

Great shoes

They take a little time to get used to them because they are made to handle tough feet like mine. I have been through several surgeries on both feet and have had a lot of trouble finding good shoes. These fit my orthotics great!

Now I know what true support/width feel like

In my job I'm on my feet outside seven days a week and I am *hard* on my shoes to say the least (I run a farm). I have used New Balance shoes for years but I've developed more heel pain in my left foot and became desperate for a shoe with more support (tried pricey inserts but they only worked for a short time). So I bought these Drew walkers after researching here and on the web, despite the price. Well, overall, these shoes did work for me, for the first time I had real support that I needed in a shoe, in fact my feet took almost a week of working in them to get accustomed to the support. My heel pain did not go away totally, but these shoes helped my foot feel about 75% better! These shoes expanded to fit my very wide foot almost immeadiately. They are a large clunky shoe but I would rather have the support and I did order a half size bigger than normal just to be sure I would have the right length and width after working in them for a few weeks. However, now that I've been using them hard for three months the foot support is wearing down and some of the stiching has come loose at the toe on one of the shoes. But I am probably much harder on these shoes than the majority of people using them. Overall I would still recommend these shoes to someone who is looking for true foot support for heel pain.
