Dansko Women's Jute Pro Clogs

I don't usually buy clogs- I guess having spent time in the 70s and always falling out of them put me off. But I loved the colors on this one, and heard a lot of my nursing friends were switching to the Dansko Pros, I decided to try them. It's an unusual fit- your heel is supposed to lift up a bit, but they still stay on in a really comfortable way. I have longer toes, and the full toe box was really nice. They run true to size for me. The footbed is hard, but nicely contoured with a good medium arch support. The sole of the shoe is wide and solid, with a bit of a rocking step. I was very pleasantly surprised, and can understand how my friends are so sold on these. Believe me, nurses spend a LOT of time on their feet, and if they're happy with them, you know they're good. And I love the colors. The shoe is really well made, and the stripes match up between the two shoes. The blue in it is a denim color, so of course, these will go great with jeans, too. I'm definitely sold on the Dansko Pro line now, and these are very cute, comfortable shoes.

I loved the look of this shoe but had never purchased a Dansko shoe. I bought them and they are just adorable - I feel like I have new Easter shoes on when I wear them! The fit is interesting... they don't come in wide sizes and I usually need that, but the toe box is so spacious that I'm comfortable there. I'm hoping that the fabric stretches just a touch - it's a bit snug on the middle part of my foot. The previous reviewer described the rocking part well, and I was glad to read that your heal is supposed to slip a bit when you walk. Mine does - but it's not a problem, just part of the design. I'm finding them very comfortable and the completely inflexible sole is strangely supportive and wearable! As you can tell - I'm still learning about Danskos but what I'm learning, I'm liking!

I have a couple pair of danskos, but this pair is tight across the top of my foot. I hope they stretch because otherwise I love them!
