I have been wearing Birki's for over 35 years and have never worn a better fitting sandal. I bought the Gizah's for the first time and absolutely love them! They are comfortable, easy to walk long distances in, and I love how they look!

I purchased the Onyx color and am very pleased. It is a true metallic gunmetal color and I find it goes great with everything. Once you are over the Birkenstock break in period, they are ever so comfy!

This was my first pair of Birkenstocks, and have worn them for 5 years. I am now buying another pair in another color! I constantly am getting complements on them.

Finally, a pair of shoes that fit!

I always wanted to try Birkenstock sandals after I had a pair of Clark Bohemian style sandals I last bought in the '80's and they no longer make. I am glad I finally did, the comfort that they provide my high arch foot and my whole body is a relief. I am already looking for another pair preferably in Nubuck. The synthetic material on this model is okay and still attractive though be aware that the brown is not true as it has flecks of gold in it making it appear more bronze in color.
