When diabetes, arthritis, bunions, hammertoes or general foot discomfort threaten to slow you down, slip on the Ambulator Mary Jane. The removable polyurethane insole, with a deep heel cup, molds to your foot, gently reducing pressure points. The soft upper helps reduce rubbing, while the firm, high toe box accommodates problem feet. For added depth and fitting flexibility, the insole layers can be removed. The flared rocker polyurethane outsole improves foot stability, reduces ball-of-foot stress and absorbs shock. This Mary Jane, with a leather or nubuck leather upper, offers a hook-and-loop strap across the instep for adjustability.

I love these shoes! I was at the point where it was getting very difficult to walk, even short distances - these shoes have saved my feet. They are extremely comfortable. A little on the clunky side, but overall, I'm very happy with them. The website says they run small, so I ordered a half size up, didn't really need to.

I wore this shoe around the house as I was so unsure of spending more money on shoes I could not wear. They were comfortable so i wore them longer each day-when I went out was still wearing shoes that hurt. Finally got brave wore them outside was so happy first time in ages my feet did not hurt when walking. I have bunions, a mishapen toe that curls upward-have had 3 operations on my feet-these are the best shoes I have ever owned and they are not ugly!

I purchased these shoes because I recently have orthotics that support the whole foot and are somewhat thick in the forefoot. These shoes are great: they have 3 insoles that can be removed so I can use my orthotics and still use one or two insoles depending on the thickness of my socks. This makes them very versatile. And they are stylish and look good. Some reviewers indicated that the size is small; I did not find that to be true - I ordered my regular size and they fit just fine.

I got this shoes because I have had both knees replaced and needed extra support. They are great! I feel grounded to the floor - great balance.
